Announcing Ist International Accreditation support Champions Award 2025
We have also instituted a new award to celebrate the non-faculty administrative leaders contributing to International Accreditation Support which is more a norm than an exception in much of the western world! In India the practice was not widely prevalent leading to greater stress in faculty groups.
We chose two such champions who in most part volunteered to take up accreditaiton related work based on pure passion " I took up accreditation related work besides s my administrative responsibilities but it was worth it. "My career growth itself shows how useful this work was" says Mr Jelani Mohamed currently Registrar and Controller of Examinations at Goa Institute of Management. He has sukpported all the institutions he worked in the past to bag International Accreditation recognition from AACSB, AMBA, BGA, ACBSP and also tremendous traction while dealing with media ranking.

Shikha Taunk, the India representative of AMBA-BGA, almost single handedly managed accreditation, ranking ad other quality building aspects. besides taking up training and development functions in her previous job at XLRI Jamshedpur, something she feels that has been her foundational introduction to independent peer reviewed accreditation systems of the world.
Being a non-teaching leader within the system the balancing of both accreditation support and usual administrative duties were tough but working against constant deadlines and explore to the global accreditation systems great helped she feels.
After literally passing through the fire she is herself now part of the International Accreditation scheme of things representing BGA and AMBA for India. SEAA Trust, wishes to congratulate Shikha Taunk for receiving International Accreditation support Champions Award 2025.
Ms Shikha Taunk , Strategic engagement manager
of the International Accreditation Agency, AMBA-BGA
