The United Nations Global Compact India (UNGCI) has set the 2030 deadline for addressing the 17 sustainable development goals. Having tracked the UNGNI work for over two decdades, one can only see that the targets may not have been fully achieved. With onlyi four years to go before the deadline, it is time for UNGCNI members to take up affirmative action. SEAA Trust, as a long time member of UNGCNI we decided to to take up a goal of 10000 trees to be planted before the target period.

Our initiative is to plant trees (SDG 13 (climate Action) and SDG 15 ( life on land)) as part of the 10000 trees to be planted before the SDG deadline of 2030, set jointly by SEAA Trust, New Delhi and Arty Hearty Arty Hearty Retreats a member of Hope Society of India/ a prominent social service organisation of Delhi NCR.
The tree plantation drive is also aimed at sensitizing the youth of the country , particularly children from the disadvantaged class. SDG 13 and 15 respectively were the focus of attention of the stellar event that took place involving the disadvantaged children (SDG 1 ) taking the lead to plant trees (SDG 13 (climate Action) and SDG 15 ( life on land)) as part of the 10000 trees to be planted before the SDG deadline.
