Self-Regulation with Accreditation
The 18th International Accreditation Conference is being held for two days November 14 & 15, 2025 at Bengaluru at our Host school Indus Business Academy (IBA) celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year.
Our own work in Business Education also has touched the quarter century mark with the launch of Business Schools survey in Business India magazine in the year 2000 for the first time in the country. SEAA Trust New Delhi was started in the year 2008 as an advocacy non-profit dedicated to advance quality standards in Business Education with International Accreditation from the best in class.
About the conference: The two day conference is based on the theme "Quality Assurance with Accreditation, the Challenge within! A few of the challenges have been listed below. There is a strong need to understand these challenges and prepare the institution long before taking up Accreditation especially the global ones as these could be time consuming and expensive.
About the agency participation: The International Accreditation agencies are well represented with Six of them presenting: AACSB, AMBA - BGA, EFMD, ACBSP, IACBE, GBSN and SAQS not necessarily in that order owing to time differences and geographies involved.
SEAA Conferences are most unique in bringing together all the top rated accreditation agencies on the same platform year on year for the past 17 years.

With more than 150 research papers to his credit published in various journals and presented in conferences at national & international level, Dr. Sharma has developed his core expertise in the area of Strategy formulation. His research has widely published in various newspapers. Currently, he is serving as Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab & visiting faculty to Binus University, Indonesia and University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, Germany. He has been instrumental in scaling Chitkara Business School operations from 60 students & one program to 3500 plus students & more than 12 programs with in span of first 10 years. In his last assignment, Dr. Sharma set up a B-School in Ludhiana and was instrumental in taking that B-School to pinnacle of glory in the region. He is widely travelled all across the globe for participation in academic events. He is an active member of various management associations and University bodies.
